About Limpopo Mental Health Society
We envision a compassionate, stigma-free Limpopo. Our programs promote dignity and inclusion through accessible counselling, community-based rehabilitation, and public awareness.
Who We Are
Founded in 2003, we are a nonprofit organization delivering integrated mental health and disability support across Limpopo Province.
What We Do
We provide integrated mental health and disability support across Limpopo through:
- Counselling & Psychosocial Support – For individuals, families, and communities
- Community-Based Rehabilitation – Promoting independence and inclusion
- GBV Prevention & Disability Mainstreaming – Empowering vulnerable groups
- Substance Abuse Awareness – Education and early intervention
- Employee Wellness Programs – Supporting mental health in the workplace through counselling, trauma debriefing, workshops, and wellness days
Our Strategy (2025–2027)
We’re focused on inclusivity, public awareness campaigns, strengthening support systems, and expanding local mental health services.

If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or needs support, our team is here to help. While we do not operate a 24-hour crisis line, you can reach us during office hours for guidance, referrals, and support.
